Ukrainian prose of „proletarian” writers: dominant themes.

The article analyzes the thematic level, the works of Ukrainian prose of twenties, who entered the history of literature as „proletarian” writers. The immediate objective of this article – a generalization and systematization of the components of the epic writers work 20–30th years as a subject and formal means. It is indicated the writer’s innovation in the development of topics of villages and towns, old and new, historical and revolutionary reality, man in society. Young writers 20thyears of the XX century placed in the center of prose image of young man, who was elated with revolutionary ideals, who lived romantic dreams of a better future. Thus, the writers sought to show the complexity of revolutionist relationships with the outside world. Due to author’s conclusion, the main criteria of prose by „proletarian” writers include: artificialness of ideas and images, the truth and depth of answers to questions of concern to society and personality, sincerity and elevation of the moral sense; activity spiritual quest of the writer and his characters. The article takes into account the opinion, declaring ideological influence on the reader as primary goal of proletarian writer, even if the certain text follows peculiar tradition. The writers have sought to understand the past in the interests of the present. Most artists of specified period depicted in the prose works personality formation in the fight. T. Sharova summarizes, that writers, who are attributed to the camp of „proletarian literature” belonged to the groups „Pluh”, „Garth”, „Molodniak” and others. These writers actively worked on to date to the mid-20th – early 30s. „Proletarians” were creating a separate literary paradigm.References
